Elfant Wissahickon Realtors, Philadelphia, PA

BACKGROUND
Coinciding with the opening of their company headquarters at 8039 Germantown Avenue, Elfant Wissahickon Realtors hired us to transform their long-time logo into a mark that would better reflect the image of the growing company. The mark needed to help redefine their status as a local, northwest realtor to a regional force with a rapidly expanding reach. The facelift included the creation of a new visual identity, stationery program, digital communications, marketing materials, advertisements and signage.

DESIGN RESPONSE
For over 25 years, the company had worked hard to maintain a strong visual presence, defined largely by its signature squirrel and bright yellow sale signs. When approaching this project, we knew these elements had to remain recognizable and familiar to their loyal following. We used a calligraphic line approach to create an elegant version of their iconic squirrel. Their vibrant yellow remained unchanged but a new highlight color—rose—was introduced to the palette to further separate them from their competitors. Our goal was to build on the strong visual elements of the past while evolving the identity to reflect a more sophisticated, modern aesthetic.  See examples of the identity here.
